Sustainable Front Yard, Carlsbad
We transformed a bland, unsustainable front yard into a beautiful water-wise garden with using sustainable practices: turf removal, climate appropriate and drought-tolerant plants, compost, drip irrigation, permeable walkway and 3” of mulch. The design intent was to also create an open landscape, much to the delight of the homeowner and his neighbor.
